No advertising and no tracking
This website uses no analytics or marketing services and no externally loaded fonts. The application form is not yet activated for sending; in this state, entries are neither transmitted to Habitara nor stored. We do not use cookies or similar storage techniques for advertising or analytics purposes. External links only transmit data to the linked website when you open them.
Hosting and access data
We use AWS Amplify with Amazon CloudFront to deliver the website. The application is set up in the AWS region Frankfurt (eu-central-1); CloudFront is a globally distributed network. Technical operation runs through an AWS account managed by Andreas Diehl.
When you visit the site, AWS processes technically necessary access data, in particular the IP address, date and time, the requested address including URL parameters, browser information and response status. The purpose is secure delivery as well as error and abuse detection. Our interest in this operation is the basis for processing under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website cannot be delivered without the necessary connection data.
According to the AWS documentation, Amplify access logs remain stored until the app is deleted. The two-week window mentioned there only limits individual retrievals, not storage. Please do not transmit confidential information via URL parameters. We cannot currently guarantee a shorter, effectively configured retention period.
AWS and the service providers it uses receive technical data. Due to the global delivery network, processing may take place outside the European Economic Area. Exclusively German processing is not guaranteed. Information on the data protection agreements and transfer mechanisms offered by AWS: AWS privacy section. The specific contractual arrangement for Habitara and the assessment of retention are still subject to our privacy review.
Email and applications
The application form is not yet activated. Entries made there are neither transmitted nor stored. Please do not send application documents or health data by email. You can send general questions to hallo@habitara.health.
We use voluntarily provided information to handle your enquiry. For contract-related enquiries, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR applies; for other organisational enquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (interest in responding). As soon as applications are accepted via the form, we will process the necessary application details to decide on an employment relationship in accordance with § 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). There is no automated selection of applicants.
Before activating the form, we will define recipients, access rights and retention periods. The deletion procedure will also be set up and tested in advance. Statutory retention obligations apply to general enquiries; we delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for their purpose.
Your rights
Under the statutory conditions, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future; the lawfulness of prior processing remains unaffected.
Objection: Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.
Under Art. 77 GDPR you may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the place of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. For Rhineland-Palatinate: The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.
